Features 

DirectVPN

Direct VPN access to machine controllers via the cloud to let your suppliers and yourself work remotely with your engineering tools.

EasyControl (VNC & HTTP)

One-touch access to a control or web panel of your machine. From the browser and IXON app.

Concurrent VPN and EasyControl connections

The IXON licensing structure has no restrictions on the number of users allowed to simultaneously connect to a remote machine.

Advanced user management

Roles, groups and access profiles allow extensive selection of who gets access to which functionality. Be it internal employees, suppliers or other stakeholders.

Remote firmware upgrades

A listing of current firmware versions with release notes is available. These can be easily installed on remote IXON edge gateways.

LAN Access Management

The ability to give users only DirectVPN access to a specific IP address of the network within the machine.

Temporary access (Just-In-Time)

Ability to grant your supplier JIT (Just-In-Time) access to your machine. This ensures you never forget to manually revoke someone's access.

Access request & approval

Ability to enforce an approval process. For example, the system can first send the supplier an e-mail with an approval request before the service engineer can connect to the machine.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Integration with an external OpenID authentication provider for authentication of users from one identity provider.

Connection monitoring and alerting

The connections of edge gateways are monitored. When a connection is not active for x time, a notification can be sent to selected users.

SCIM provisioning by domain

Companies using Microsoft or other identity authority systems can have users (employees) automatically provisioned and deleted in/out of IXON Cloud.

Shared device control

When your supplier already works with IXON you have the ability to let him share a ControlKey which you can import as a factory. This way you can enforce access requests to your machines, while the supplier keeps the overview of the machines he has to service.
